Sat at the table with no indication of a reservation, but got kicked out after we got explained that the nearby table is booked which means ours is booked also. You relay on people's telepathy, really? Disappointing

Great restaurant in the best Munich location at moderate prices. Criticism: The vegetarian alternative in the lunch menu lacks variety. There is something (almost) every week in the tomato sauce with rocket and mountain cheese. That is very monotonous in the long run.

Best roast pork ever! Super crispy crust, just the right amount of fat, and juicy meat. Dumplings and sauce perfect. Nice service and a feel-good atmosphere in the restaurant. I will come back to try the rest of the menu.

Cozy restaurant. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The schnitzels are nice and big and are served with very tasty fried potatoes. The prices are reasonable.

An institution in the Lehel. In summer you can sit outside very well, inside the restaurant is rustic. Food is always excellent and the service very friendly.

I was here a year ago, and remembered it to be a nice enough local kitchen place, where u can get a decent schnitzel. This time we had the mistake of having other local dishes, fatty bulky versions of dishes we've enjoyed in other places, like Käse spätzle, the food was done with a heavy hand. It sits on you for hours. The service was even worse - some white guy who thinks he's king of the street shouting at everyone from a far...his actions were also contra productive to all the hygiene tryouts...other waitress tried over and over and over to also get coffee, eventhough we told her we want to take it elsewhere. So, if you're very hungry, have no other option, and own thick skin and don't hear so well - you might not suffer

Very nice old Bavarian pub, pleasantly friendly service and down-to-earth food with beneficial variety. The wine is also of good quality at reasonable prices. Overall, definitely recommended.

Rarely discovered such a good restaurant with such friendly, brisk and attentive staff. Inn very cozy in the old style. Home cooking of the best. Roast pork with crispy crust, onion roast tender and hearty. Everything with a good side salad and not expensive at all. Gladly again!!!

In the middle of Lehel, my beautiful old home, a little gem of Bavarian cosiness. Food is great, service is always attentive, and the restaurant itself is worth a visit if you like tradition and wonderful interior design. It remains a pearl. Please do not change anything

I really like this place. I come here each time when I am in Munich. The food is good and savory. The prices for downtown Munich are very good. I guess you can't go wrong here, if you want a decent Bavarian meal in Munich in a relaxed atmosphere.

Brilliant place. Host managed to squeeze us in as regulars kindly vacated their table for us. Food great, really friendly and the locals are chatty - add to that excellent value for money. Fail to see how you could improve on the experience.

Lovely traditional Bavarian Restaurant with incredibly friendly service and really good authentic food. We recommend the Wiener Schnitzel and the homemade organic Bolognese. True, that's not really Bavarian, but the waitress has explained to us that it is Bavarian organic meat. And since there are no fries here, especially the children are very happy about this dish. We are not children and we loved it anyway.

Food was excellent and service efficient though at times a little abrupt. Had the schnitzel, roast beef and a goats cheese salad all delicious. Lovely quieter location for an excellent dinner.

Great Bavarian Food, authentic ambience, traditional tavern of the locals. We recommend the "Schnitzel" and "Schinkennudeln" ( a traditional bavarian dish with noodles and ham). Very friendly service and everyone tries to speak English. We recommend this Bavarian Restaurant in Munich.

Delicious food. They had an English menu and specials. The Wienerschnitzel on the menu was veal and more expensive, so we got the pork Wienerschnitzel for €12.90 and it was plenty of food for two. Potatoes were delicious and the cranberry jam and lemon tasted great with the food. Ask for tap water and they won't charge you for it.

The food was great, the beer of course, but it is extremely crowded in the restaurant and loud. From 21 clock it will be much more relaxed. The price-performance ratio is very good
